In preparation of their 2011 Fall Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Urban Land Institute reached out to Coupler to create an as-close-to-zero-waste trade show booth as possible.  Conceived by architect Marc Whitman, Coupler fabricated a wave out of reclaimed pallet wood that spanned roughly 16 feet in width by 10 feet in height.  A living garden made from unbroken pallets was also on display.  This garden prominently displayed lasered wood squares of the names of all current sponsors of the program.  The space contained bar-height tables so that people could congregate and socialize in the area while learning about ULI's programs and events.
